Planting Seeds: 🌱 The Birth of EdEthix

Updated: Jun 5, 2025

The idea of EdEthix was born from a question that kept echoing in my mind: "Are we preparing the next generation not just to use technology, but to understand it, question it, and humanise it?"
As an educator, I’ve seen the digital world infiltrate classrooms, homes, friendships, and self-perception. Screens are no longer just tools, they shape our values, our relationships, and how we see ourselves and others.
This platform wasn’t built from ambition. It was built from care, concern and a deep desire to contribute something meaningful to the future of education.
EdEthix is my way of responding, with stories, real ethical dilemmas, and learning resources that help us pause, reflect, and ask better questions about what we do online.
In a world obsessed with "what’s next?", EdEthix dares to ask:"What’s right?"

🎯 What this project aims to become

  • A digital space for students, teachers, and families to talk about difficult but necessary topics: digital harm, bias, manipulation, and responsibility.

  • A platform that celebrates empathy, diversity, and critical thinking in the age of AI.

  • A home for ethical education that evolves with the needs of real communities.

🔮 The future we imagine

We dream of expanding this space with more case studies, interactive lessons, culturally inclusive resources, and even collaborations with schools and educators from around the world.
Whether you’re a student wondering if what you saw online was okay, or a teacher looking for ways to teach AI ethically, this space is for you.

Let this be the first seed. 🌱May it grow into a forest of digital awareness, care, and ethical courage.

📩 If you’re reading this, thank you for being part of the beginning.
